I can't offer much help, other than saying I have been using razor exclusively for years with wide range of clients up to 7.0.23 with Xp and vista., never had that kind of issue.. maybe something to do with Win7 or network? Sorry its not very helpful, thats got to be frustrating.
Right click the Razor Icon, click properties, click compatibility tab, make sure that disable visual themes and disable desktop composition are both checked and nothing else is check. Run the program normally, no more problems.
