Any Interest in Something Like This on Demise?

There's the constant complaint from people that they don't participate in PVP because they don't have hundreds of millions for suits. I was wondering if people would get behind the idea of doing something like this:

Two or Three Guilds prominently displaying colors, something along the lines of:
Red Crusaders with Knight names would defend Luna
Black Orcs would defend Skara Brae Trammel
maybe a third guild in a different town

After each group had amassed a few players, the guilds would begin a war against each other. Basically low cost, no risk PVP in the midst of town, with rules something along these lines:

No Mounts
No Potions
Only allowed armor or items are that which can be bought by NPCs or crafted by basic non-runic tools.

Disallowed Skills
Animal Taming
Animal Lore
Veterinary
Ninjitsu
Necromancy
Stealth
Spellweaving


Thoughts?

Would be nice, of course, but GL on actually throwing it together. Perhaps if someone was willing to basically turn it into a series of [PRE]s, and perhaps even offer prizes, there might be some interest, and it could be built up... Possibly enough to make it stand on its own.

so... basically weapon skills and magery. Eh not a super bad idea. Could be fun.

You get it all together and ill be sure to join.

Its kinda dificult to pvp with a tammer. You usually can get 1 or 2 easy kills with a GD before getting ganked, its more easy with a hiryu

Any competent person willing to be GL of the Black Orcs?

A couple no-risk PVP guilds could form a War or Alliance and fight each other in any rule-set. I like this idea. Similar to ROE for Yew. Let me know if there is anything I can to to help promote or support an effort like this.

I offer an alternative solution to fear and cowardice:

Solution #1: Farming Ltots and making a decent suit

Code:

1. Acquire a 2/6 casting, all 40's resist LRC suit. (Average investment: 100k)

2. Put said LRC suit on a necro mage, and head to the ltot-dropping Tokuno Sleeping Dragon spawn, which is currently a Cold Blood spawn with incredible drop rates.

3. Gather 10-20 of these ltot's and turn them in at the Minister of Trade in Zento, Tokuno Islands. Select the "Rune Beetle Carapace" and "Tome Of Lost Knowledge" items. (Average time: 3 days of playing 2 hours a day)

4. Buy/craft/beg/borrow/steal several runic pieces with Mana Regen 2 + high resistances. (Average investment: 200-300k)

5. You now have a decent pvp suit, stop bitching about your suit and learn to play with what you have.

well i find this would be entertaining, harm/lightning/fireball spam and or gank... im glad people call that pvp

hmm someone comes up with something to do and you call it bitching it dose not sound that way to me...but then again i dont see what most ppl call bitching most the time any way so what ever if you dont like it then dont join in it was an idea and to me and some other ppl it sounds like it wo9uld be a little fun so dont yell or call names its just a game right????? RIGHT????? ok no one ganna agree with me *scared* LOL

Oh and btw i have a pvp geared up i just want something diffrent
