fry up some bacon, break it into bacon bits, dice up 1 onion, 1/2 a bell pepper, get a quarter-wedge of a lime. take 6-8 eggs, begin cooking scrambled eggs... add in your diced onion bell pepper and bacon bits, grate your favorite cheese, or blend of cheeses, over the eggs, add salt, pepper, and then squeeze the lemon over them. let them cook through, and you have yourself the best damned eggs you'll ever eat.

Big fan of the IHOP Cinna-Stack Pancakes. MMMMM goood.

@Tarn - I'll have to give that a try sometime. The wife is very very proud of her own scrambled eggs, it might be a bit hard to get her to make something different. (I've boosted them up to almighty status over the years) But will definitely find a time to try that one out.

I like frying up some potato's or hashbrown's, tossing in some ham, hamburger or sausage and then scrambling some eggs into it, then topping that off with shredded cheese. You can add onions, peppers... pretty much anything you want. Gives you a full meal in one skillet and it means LESS cleanup... :D

Skillets are awesome. They kick an omelets ass each and every time in my book.

I like to put sausage gravy on top of mine Hammer.

I've got a pretty strong stomach. I'm sure I'd be fine :)
I bet my 1st ex wife could change your mind on having a strong stomach.. she could turn a grilled cheese sandwich into a chunk of charcole... without ever turning it over... Ruined my brand new non stick skillet in the process. The non stick coating was missing.. in the shape of the bread.

Well on the plus side of things, atleast she's an ex! ::thumbsup::

yeah your right on that. i lost a massage therapist/great cook/great woman to a substance.

another good recipe is getting ground sausage, form it around cheese/diced onions, cook it up.
you can put it in with just about anything to make a bomb excessory to your toast, biscuit's and gravy, etc.

In the BBQ world they are called Bacon Explosions....its a web of bacon, with a flattened out sausage roll, ingredients inside, rolled up and smoked....very very very good for the arteries.

There are quite a few companies that make them and package them for sale.... You can very easily make your own at home if you have a kettle grill or a smoker. Hell im sure you could do it in the oven. I'll grab some recipe links and throw them up here.

They are spectacular.

Bacon, peppered and oregana omellette. It's so nice, I have it regularly.

How to cook:
  1. Turn on the flat pan and cook your pork lardons/bacon pieces
  2. Whilst the lardonds/bacon is cooking beat and mix the eggs, then sprinkle in a little bit of pepper and oregano if you want
  3. Pour into the pan and wait until a little cooked
  4. Flip over and fold.

2 skillets, buttered and preheated.

5 eggs
1/2 bellpepper or (preferably) a whole Romero.
1/2 a large white onion, minced
6 white mushrooms, chopped
half a package of Inoki mushrooms, chopped
2 stalks of adult Bok Choy, chopped
2 carrots shaved.
2 5 cheese Bratwurst chipped while frozen. (or whatever sausage you have handy or prefer...low grease is key.)

Montreal Chicken Spice
Cayenne seeds
Pepper
Salt
Garlic Plus (or Herb)
Turmeric
Sweet Thai Chili sauce
Plum sauce

How-To:
Add all veggies into one skillet (except onion) and cook to preference.

While cooking

Crack eggs into bowl and add all spices except Sweet Thai Chili and Plum sauces to eggs, beat and whip liberally. You can add a bit of water and 18% cream to taste. Make sure spices are in a suspension state when you pour eggs into hot skillet. Once bottom of omelette is light brown pour the veggies and bratwurst from other skillet onto rawish side and flip quickly.

Toss onions into now empty skillet and carmelize quickly then add 2 tablespoons (maybe 3) of sweet thai chili and one BIG tablespoon of plumsauce onto onions and simmer.

Reflip omelette.

Tri roll omelette and plate it. Add whatever cheese you like if you prefer that and slightly cool. Once onion mixture is fully carmelized and mixed spoon it over the omelette.

Best served with heavily creamed coffee or milk.

You can also add lime or orange to onion mix while cooking for a better flavor but my kids and stepkids thinks its gross.

Best damn breakfast you'll ever try and makes delicious breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches as well.
