Ok so if you are playing on client 6.0.0.0 or lower you get black spots when you use the force resolution feature and set a high res. I notice on 7.0.9.1 or higher client you can force the res higher and do not get these black spots. Oddly enough after much time searching and googling I cannot find exaclty which client patch fixed this. So my question is simply this. On what exact client patch did the engine recieve the ability to keep up with the higher resolutions?
