How to start?

I've just downloaded runUO and I've my copy of UO so where I can find a tutorial to create a small server to play on my LAN?

All done, but when I tru to connect the message "Loggin in.." doesn't go away!

I would suggest reading the FAQs forum. There's more than one guide on connecting to your server, i guarentee it, and your next 10 questions will most likely be answered there.

Are you behind a router or firewall?
If so did you forward your port and make a ruleset for the firewall?
Did you correctly edit your serverlist.cs?

Unless you provide us with more information as to what you did, and did not do, there is not much that we can do for you. Unfortunately my crystal ball is in for repairs right now.
