I'm new to this but...

Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at this... I'm new to all of this and i got runuo working pretty well and i have managed to figure out how to add ml critters. but i keep comming across the same problem for every creature i add... they cannot be lore'd... it says that is not a creature, but they can be tamed and i can ride them (took alot of reboots)... i tried searching for this answer but i came up with 0

any suggestions where to look?

Version 1.0 or 2.0? If it's 2.0, that issue needs to go in the bug tracker. If it's 1.0 you would need to edit some files to be able to use Lore on ML/SE creatures. Try here. If you scroll down there's a perfect example of how to add in ML/SE creatures given by sidsid.
