Just Dled my first server...

Okay... i downloaded the Run-Uo Beta 36... i got the .netframework file... and i started the server just fine... howerver, i have absolutely no clue about making a server or being a gm. Can someone please help me.

One thing i would like to know, how do i make it so only certan people join? I would like a server for freinds and a few other people. And another thing, How do I connect to the server? i the likee server.exe window opens up i make an administrator account but how do i log into my server? i have always used uogateway to connect to servers. please help

There are many threads in the FAQ section that will help you, here is a link to it. I would suggest going through all of them, there is excellent information on the most common shard modifications.

You can still use UOGateway to access your server, it is the only supported method that is available. You need to create a local server listing for it. That option is available in the My Servers portion of UOGateway, use the link at the top right of the screen.
