We have setup a House Raffle Stone at an empty plot close to the south gate inside Luna walls. It costs 5000gp to enter and you can only enter once per account. The raffle will end in 7 days and the winner will have the winning deed placed into their backpack when it's over. Good luck! More details to follow.
Yea, someone already "went there" about making accts for this. Theres a few things you should think about. 1. The account limit is FOUR (4) per household. Thats not four per person, its not four per ip/internet connection.. its for per IRL household. 2. #1 is a bannable offense should you decide to do otherwise. 3. The raffle system itself has logging and tools, to help us catch anyone doing anythings stupid to get more chances. 4. You can take this to the bank: the winner WILL be checked out thoroughly, by hand, manually, by ME. 1+2+3+4 = If theres anymore than 4 entries from a single household, count on being banned. There will be no breaks or 2nd or 3rd strike for it in these raffles. Just a bit of advice here: dont let people come to your house to enter this. We are really not going to be very accepting of that as an excuse.
Do you have to be houseless to enter/win? Or can you win and then make arrangements to dump any existing house on the account before taking up the Luna spot?
Anyone with an existing house plot can enter, but before you can place at the luna plot your old house would need to be taken down first.
So if there are two people in your household playing UO, only one person can enter? If we both enter into the raffle, we get banned? It really should be one entry per account, not household.
It only sounds that way because of where you decided to trim off the quote. The rest is relevant too.
Ok. After re-reading it appears that four accounts are allowed per household. Got it. And, as long as no more than four entries per household are not received, you will not be banned... Got that. But correct me if I'm wrong, I thought I read that no more than one entry per household (not account) allowed. So was the quote for the actual raffle or accounts allowed per household?

Sorry, next time I will to be a little more errr, less vague specifics: 4 accts per household is the limit 1 entry per acct is the raffle limit So. 4 entries per household is the limit of entries. I highly suggest people dont let friends or relatives use their internet to enter. I really dont want to hear it as an excuse in this case.
Ok... I think it may have sunk in this time. So, both of us can enter without the chance of being banned because the entries are based on account, not household. Thanks Xavier... just a bit confused. I'm cool now

I've been watching her house since she was banned and have been dreading the possibility that there are scripters there just waiting to place. Or the possibility that it stays locked up forever. Like, okay, we're all UO losers and we all have our lil things that we dream of having in game. My "UO Dream" has ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS been to have a Luna house. You just don't know how freaking ecstatic I would be to win this. I would LOVE to be your neighbor.
I owned 2 sold em cheap. If I win this one I have a few ideas for it. Speaking of "Dreams" Though.. If I could get my hands on Thirds house across the road to the North of Runes Galore.... Demise would have the most amazing Auction House/Casino UO has ever seen.
I have a question and this isn't to start anything, just curious. If you're raffling this plot, have yall decided what to do with her other one thats outside Luna?
So a couple more questions... Would it be possible to transfer the prize from one account to another owned by the same player or household? E.g, 4 accounts in one household enter, but it gets won by an account that already has a house... Could it be then given to another connected account that doesn't already have a house? (as this may be a simpler/more elegant solution that juggling houses between accounts... Especially if one of the accounts in question needs their Felucca house) Also, in whatever case, how long would be given the claim the prize? I.e, how long would be granted to demolish an existing house to allow that account to place the reward one?
Per OSI, the raffle system allows 30 days from the time you get your "right to lease" certificate ( which will be a keepable "rare" item, love rares )... to use it, and place the house. Dont quote me on this one, this is one of the systems I havent thoroughly gone though yet, but either way you should be able to place the house and trade the house to another acct, but youd have to juggle to beat the house decay process which you initiated by taking an extra house on the account in question. edit : Oh right. It wasnt in the bug section, I didnt review it enough to be sure of how it works... yeah.. scared yet? A new counselor is helping with coding, and is very good at what they do. Im sure youll all get to know them soon. Being as thats a problem with RunUO, and its not as intended on OSI, Id be willing to help the winner out with moving it.
