WTG Sunshine! I love your posts and agree wholeheartedly! Some kids are fooled by conmen who prey on their being young and not as wary of strangers as they should be. They do NOT deserve to be molested or worse. Yes their parents should know what they are doing and help to protect them but let's face it. some parents are very busy making a living or taking care of the family to be there every minute a kid is on the computer.
Who am I?
Well, I am a guy who played UO on OSI for about 5 years, then left when I saw them change so many things for the worse. I once attended their annual player bash in Austin and did not have such a great experience there. Since I left OSI, I have played a number of private shards and just now decided to try my hand at making a shard of my own. I previously have programmed in Fortran IV, assembly, QuickBasic(compiled) and Visual Basic. I have never programmed before in C# however but will be learning the language soon. Right now, I just have a test shard of my own and staff on another shard. My test shard is RunUO2.0 and I am testing a lot of scripts and attemping to revise them to work on 2.0 or find where someone else already did it. I hate reinventing the wheel but I don't mind a bit of work on my own. Sorry I am new to the forums and in the previous posts you are asking what I was referring to, I selected the icon that said it was "reply to this post". I see now that it did not indicate that and I need to quote the previous post instead. I love RunUO and the community here seems to be quite large and knowledgeable. Thanks to all for their great scripts and all they have been doing for the RUNUO community!
