Talking Npc's? Please help.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to make npc's say things (and repeat them) that you want them to. I know it's an editing of some script, but don't know what. If anyone knows, can you please show me how? Thanks for your time.

make a npc that have a timer every tick of the timer it would add another timer and say what you want that way you would keep it saying every timer!
