I'm running Windows xp with Norton 2004, I already have the xp firewall turned off...Your saying I should turn off my anti virus too? Or do you have different anti-virus and firewall I should use? I have my server on a second hard then my main files and programs but I dont want to leave my comp totally unprotected...I guess I could prob set Norton to not protect just the one hard drive...Have to check into that...In the mean time any more thoughts on what i might do to leave my comp protected but still have the server up? People like my shard as do I and I dont want to have to disconnect it over this...any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
