In most cases the ip you say not to use is exactly the correct one to use. Your case is apparently different and Demensha's is also different. It depends mostly on your firewall and hardware or software router. Regardless, this particular issue is fixed.
And for the record, an off the shelf ServerList works for me, the one I linked to was written by MrFixit. It has helped a lot of people get up and running.
