I dont feel like reading this whole thread so im just going to post a couple ethereal hues.

-1 is ethereal but appears black on paperdoll/pack
999999 (6 nines) = Green hue on paper doll ethereal and black in backpack

However, I hear ethereal hue'd items cause server crashes
