Very large client of mine looking for a C++ developer that can specialize in the networking side of a game product. Client is willing to pay full relocation and a very competetive salary (90-125k a year).

Here are the job details:
Network Programmer
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team to work on a revolutionary game with some of the most talented people in the industry. Candidates should bring their enthusiasm and love of gaming, as well as their prior experience in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain and extend our existing network engine.
* Implement communication with 3rd party matchmaking system.
* Resolve out-of-sync issues that arise.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* 3 + years industry experience.
* A credit on at least one major shipped title.
* Strong C++ programming skills necessary.
* Ability to work in a self-directed manner.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Some experience in other aspects of game design, including sound, UI, graphics, and physics, etc.
* A passion for creating and playing video games.
PREFERRED
* Successful candidate should have at least one AAA game credit.
* Low Level network programming experience:
o Experience with a lockstep network model.
o Low level (sockets, UDP/TCP) network experience to help maintain and improve the network layer, and to establish lobbies, rankings, etc.
o Knowledge of NAT negotiation is a plus.
* Additional Skills:
o Optimization experience, algorithmic, covering both memory and speed.
o A strong background and experience with math and physics.
* Experience on Next Gen Console (Xbox 360) and PC:
o Understand Certification Requirements for next-gen console games.
* Experience working on RTS and/or Space Combat Simulators is a plus.
Now for the fun stuff: this will be for a Star Trek game currently under development for Xbox 360. The network C++ side is specifically designed for the Xbox Live portion of the software.
Again, the client will pay full relocation, which if you dont know: that means they cover your moving expenses, and help you get setup in a new environment.
