Exclamation Attempting to Port

Hello, I've recently come across an open-source game client (on SourceForge) and am attempting to port it to Mac OS X (it claims to be compatible with any platform supporting SDL, etc. However I've come across quite a few errors. It currently compiles on Linux/Windows supposedly already.) [I in no way claim any of this work as mine, I merely wish to port it and work from there, so that I might be able to learn from a multi-platform game client.] I was wondering if anyone could help me probably sort this out if possible? I'd be forever grateful if you could. If this isnt the right place for this kind of support, I apologize, perhaps you could redirect me to where I might be able to get more help? (The community that was building the game client is now inactive as of late so support is slim to none, otherwise that would have been my first stop.)

Operating OS: 10.4.7
IDE: XCode (GCC C++ Compiler)
Frameworks: SDL, SDL_Image, SDL_Mixer, SDL_TTF, SDL_GFX (All have already been succesfully compiled and installed into my frameworks directory)
Most Common Error Types: Parsing, Requests for members, Invalid uses

The link for the game client's source and its resources (other than frameworks) are here [Warning ~36MB File]

Scroll down and click "Download for free with FileFactory Basic", then click "Click here to begin your download".

Thanks for all your support ahead of time, I look forward to gaining new knowledge.
