Woohoo! Somewhere to put my somewhat limited knowledge of RunUO/Ultima online/Razor and everything else in the world.

Ah, maybe I have found some already overlooked things... Possibly, code?

I was beginning to think that what if someone posted a 1000 line script on the page, it would look all jumbled and crappy, no? Well I was correct, but then I decided to use a < pre > tag on the code, and it looked fine, but wait! The code was still very long, unlike the [ code ] tags on this forum, which contain it into a little box. Then I had another lightbulb receive some electricity, what If i used a text area!!11oneone1!1!one!. The text area keeps the same formatting that you enter, but I was sadly dissapointed when I learned that the Textarea tag can't be used on the Wiki..

What I guess I'm trying to say/ask is "Could we possibly have the "textarea" HTML tag activated? or could you "script" into the Wiki a [ code ] tag if even possible?"

Sorry for being such a newb, but what the heck is a wiki? I've heard it a lot lately, but never before the past couple weeks or so.

A "wiki" known as a "wikipedia" is basically an online encyclopedia that can be edited by other people as they wish. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

There are no "postings" in a wiki. A wiki isn't for discussion, it's for collecting data. In this case, everyone can contribute his knowlegde of RunUO and of course edit any page. If something isn't correct, other people will change it.

from auld/middle english "wick" - alive. So if you say something is "wick" you mean it is alive/living.

we also get "wiccan" from the same root.

But there has to be some sort of back up because (I will play the always evil "what if" game) what if someone deletes all the content.

It stores a history of previous edits made to the page, and we can see which IP/User edited the page, and if a person happens to mess with the Wiki we can ban them from the site and restore it with some ease.

The contents box with the [show] [hide] buttons

hmmm nevermind, I think it appears automatically once a few ===topics=== are added.

You're correct Quick fingers.. They appear after several == Main menus == and === sub menus === are made. Even though the sub menus aren't listed I guessed them anyways :P They helped my HTML page a lot :P.

Yeah, i'm such a genius, I have wonderful Ideas. I would really like to see some sort of [ code ] thing put in though. I mean what is this thing we speak of without a code tag?
