Default New client, encryption troubles, and Solutions!

The latest patch of the UO client (5.0.6-5) had revised login encryption included. This change has broken *every* encryption removing program out there (UOGateway, UORice, Razor, and ConnectUO).

Now for the good news:
A new version of ConnectUO is out (see http://www.connectuo.com for details)
A new version of Razor is out (Find it in the RunUO.com downloads section or on http://razor.runuo.com/ (changelog: Razor 1.0.3 released!))

Unfortunently I have not seen Mr. Fixit (the creater of UOGateway) in quite a long time. This means that we do not know when, if ever, UOGateway will be updated for this change. ConnectUO is the RunUO team's replacement for UOGateway. It is currently in open Beta, but it already includes most of the features UOGateway users are used to, and several that they are not. Check it out at http://www.connectuo.com/!

Thank you for your continued support,
~The RunUO Software Team

Great job adapting so quickly! Thanks!

EDIT: Cheered too soon, ConnectUO doesn't work for me because the interface goes crazy. First when I start it up, it takes ages to look for patches, over a minute! (it did download one the first time though) When I add my local server, nothing happens after I click it in the list. I cannot use the options to the right either (edit etc) because they arent functional. When I click the public server list, the screen goes crazy, all kinds of stuff blurred on top of eachother. Help?

I'm using Win2000 SP4 and have the latest drivers, DirectX 9.0c, IE6 SP1, 1GB RAM, AMD-3200 (32-bit), ATI X800 256MB. I can't use Windows 98 which I prefer, because RunUO2.0 STILL doesn't work on it

Good opportunity for CUO to gain some popularity and kick off ;-)

And, maybe, for learnings sake: How do you all go about cracking their encryption?

I'm also curious about what changed in the encryption. Are there any plans to release that information? ( I can't imagine why anyone would keep it a secret, so I assume so ^_^ )

RunUO - [www.runuo.com] Version 2.0, Build 2357.32527

with latest connectUO beta 5 r.16211
I tired connecting with the same 5.0.7.0 client version and it results in
Client: 127.0.0.1: Encrypted client detected, disconnecting
Client: 127.0.0.1: Disconnected. [1 Online] [Despized]
