Newbie Monsters for Neruns Distro

Ok, I know most of you are advanced at uo.. and all that that entails.

I am posting this because it tooks me a few days in my spare time to do, and I thought that if I could save anybody the pains of doing it, then great.

What this is:

This is a complete copy of all of the monsters that are included in the Runuo distribution, which have been modified. These monsters have had all of their stats, ie, Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Hitpoints, and amount of damage done, cut in half.

This makes it way easier to move up in when starting a new character, and also, if you have a lot of newer players, that are not as familiar with the game, progress is made much easier.

Included in the files below are all edited stock monsters, renamed with the prefix "Newbie" and also the map files for the trammel region that have been edited. All of the map files have been edited to replace the stock monsters with the "newbie" monsters.

INSTALLATION:

These instructions are basic, and assume that you are using a fresh install of the runuo system as well as neruns distro spawner.

Installation is pretty easy, unzip all files to one folder, I named mine "NewbieMonsters".

You should copy all folders that start with "Newbie" to your runuo "customs" directory.

The map files, as stated above, are for Neruns Distro spawner. I have only tested it with Neruns spawner, and no others. I don't think it will work with any other spawner.

Make a copy of your current map files, located in the runuo/data/monsters/trammel directory. Once backups are made of current maps, simply copy the edited files from the "trammel map" folder and overwrite the current maps.

You will then need to login to the admin account in game, and clear the facet, and respawn at the least trammel. At this time, trammel is the only map that is included. I have no plans of completing maps for any other worlds.
