about: This is a very basic script, that the forums was missing IMO. I wanted to find a stock arcane item to mod as a quest reward, but I couldn't find anything so i wrote one. It's a premade arcane cloak that picks a random amount of charges from 100 - 200 for the max charges and then comes with half the amount of charges. It also picks a random hue. I would recommend using it as a type of reward or keep it special.

Install: Just plug and play.

Unless I have completely missed what you are trying to do, arcane items already exist; robes, cloaks, thigh boots and gloves can all be made into arcane items.

those all require crafting to make them, you just can't type [add arcanecloak nothing will happen. I wanted a stock arcane item.

You can simply add a cloak and set the number of charges it has though, but if it works for you...

It's an automated quest reward from a NPC, Staff chars aren't going to be around to change it into a arcane cloak. Unless you know of a way to do it in the code?

Here is another cloak that has a limited number of times it can be equiped. After the number of times its equiped is up it deletes itself and turns into a normal cloak. Then they have to go and do the quest again later on.
