VERSION 1.2 RELEASED !!!

Description:
These are basically 2 really easy scripts,
1 is a RadioStone --> when double clicked it opens a gump which you can choose to open the Radio RunUO Website
2 is [radio --> It opens the same gump as the radiostone sends you... but this one is available everywhere.

I am posting these scripts for the community to promote Radio RunUO, not for you to edit it for your own needs...

Will you please tell me if you add this to your shard? =) I would love to know all people that added it so I can broadcast them live on the radio how great they are ^^
Installation:
Just drop it in your scripts folder.
In-game do:
[add radiostone
[radio ( for players

)

well sweet IDEA but after i added it to my server and did the [ lines u said the stone added then i did the radiorunuo one and no pages were found can u give a lil more info on this .cs

triple checked. website works fine. Must be your side that it doesn't work. Try using internet explorer, not mozzila or any other client.

On our shard we have avid listeners and when they talk about what's on the radio then there's about 15 minutes of explaining how to tune in to those who haven't yet and it gets tiresome. NOT ANY MORE!! I loved it so much so that I did a lil tweaking for those who shoutcast stream off their pc, and made mine so that it goes directly to my shoutcast listing all they need to know is to have winamp and double click the "radio" on the bank roof!

To change it so it directs to your shoucast stream, simply do a search for your station at shoutcast.com, hover your mouse over the "Tune In" button of the search results showing your station and write down that info and put it in the script in place of mine.

I don't think the purpose of this thread is to promote the myriad radio stations that must be hosted by RunUO-ers....its primary purpose is to allow the use of the RunUO Radio station...

meh...I dunno.

btw, Wagen, I think I'll add it to AD2...

Excellant! I just discovered the runUo radio a day or 2 ago and already loved it... I plan to creatively place the stones in high traffic areas of the shard and perhaps in dungeons..I think it'd be well liked to have some REAL music playing during our dungeon crawls. Thanks!

I love the idea of RunUO radio and want to add it to our server but when I went to test it first I got this

so I am going to guess that maybe it was down at the time but if not could you explain to me what I have here and thank you also once it is added I would like to send you a pm maybe letting you know what server we will be adding it to so that we are not adversing here in RunUO

It would seem that it compiled in the server well, however there was a error on the website...

this is cool script just needs to be a constant connection on your behalf u can put my shard in the list but i know u cant advertise the shard name in runuo so how will i give the name to u

Basically it is down for unknown time. Ryan said to me he is having problems with the server where the radio station is hosted on. so that is bad. I think it will be back online in approximitly 3-7 days. it all depends on Ryan. Please do not give me back feedback for this, I can't help it at all.

Howdy there guys, some of you guys might recognize my name if you know of the guy who started the internet radio station for the OSI players and in case you guys are unaware, that person is me. If I can possibly be of same help to those of you who use RunUO then please let me know as I might be able to assist you all. I have been trying to get in contact with Ryan directly but I guess I am not having much luck with this. So once again if you guys would like help with this problem, I can gladly work with you all to remedy this problem, just have someone in a position of authority to make such decisions contact me. Thank you.

I have to say this is a great idea, but unfortunately your music server is always down and, i probably wouldnt like your music to begin with. I am not bashing you in any way, and i think this script is great. But when you say you dont want us to modify it, well thats blows. In my opinion i think you should rewrite the script and make it to where people can add about 10 different music servers. Then in the game lets say i wanted country i would type "radiocountry" or "radiodeathrock". Dont get me wrong but i think server admins should have a little control in what music gets played on their shard. Please keep up the good work :P

just change it as you wish. I'm going to re-script this script once the server comes back. [radio and it would popup a gump with nice stuff to choose from. Just have to wait for Ryan to give me the shell so the server gets back up. Patience =)
