Default CEOKenoBoard

Here's my next Casino game. Note: This one requires CEOTurboSlots to be installed as it uses these items from that package:

public class CasinoToken : Item
public class CasinoMembershipCard : Item // Private Club "Jackpot Winners" Membership card

As with CEOTurboSlots. If you do not have Arte’s xmlspawner2 installed remove the following line from kenoboardgump.cs:

#define XMLSPAWNER

All this does is give you his larger props gump and lets you configure the board a little easier.
----
This Keno game has similar options as my CEOTurboSlots, my first casino game release.

Active: Allows you to put the Keno board on or offline.
CardClubOnly: Only people carrying a special members card may play this slot. See TurboSlots and CasinoClubCard.
CreditATMIncrements: Minmum amount to withdraw from the bank.
CreditATMLimit: Maximum amount of credit allowed on Keno board.
CreditCashOutAt: Automatically cash out when credit exceeds this amount.
ErrorCode: Will be set to a specific error should the machine have problems.

LastWonAmount/LastWonBy/LastWonByDate: stores information regarding who hit the last “big” payout.

MembershipCard: When set to true, any player that wins 500k or more will be issued a membership card. See above.

ResetTotals: Clear all totals.

SecurityCamMob: Useful to be able to “watch” the Keno board and what’s happening with players.
SecurityChatter: Low/Medium/High – determines how much to report on. High will give you a lot of info, probably too much. Set a mob up in green acres and link it to all your machines and you can watch the action in the back room. 

ShowPlayerInfo: Allows you to look at who is currently playing the Keno game. (You must also be playing that game). The command will broadcast to all non-staff players.

Theme: 5 varying themes, GoldCoast, Luxor, Stratosphere, TreasureIsland, WhiteDiamond.

Throttle: Useful for high bandwidth shards. The gump has a lot of data in it. By turning throttle on, you can slow the pace of the game down between gumps from .5 to 5seconds. This is on by default as well. Set to false for faster game play.
ThrottleSeconds: .5-5seconds. See Throttle.

TotalCollected: Total amount collected.
TotalNetProfit: Total Net Profit.
TotalSpins: The number of times the Keno board has been played.
TotalWon: The total amount that has been paid out.
WinningPercentage: The winning percentage of the Keno board. Any amount over 100 means more $$$ has been paid out then played. Keno’s odds are not very good at all. The payout percentages for the various themes range from 75%-92%.

zHitStats00-20: The total times X out of XX numbers have been “hit”. Although interesting, not very useful as the Keno board has “special/mixed” games that could produce >15 numbers and be misleading. On a standard Keno game of 15 numbers and 20 drawn, hitting 15/15 is worse odds then any State Lottery. I ran a simulation of 200 BILLION games and NEVER hit one! Hence, these machines are great gold sinks.

Talking Excellent!!

I have a shard that I have been working on (not public) and have found myself spending to much time at your slots, this should really make it harder for me to get anything done. I cant wait to try it out !!

Hey, this is the Internet afterall. You can find nearly everything with google...

http://wizardofodds.com/keno

Some of the games, named simularly, are based off tables found here:

http://www.johnph77.com/math/kenopct.html

Also, as far as hitting 15/15, as I said earlier, the odds are worse then lottery odds. I ran simulations of 200 billion games and never hit 15/15, don't even think I hit 14/15. Afterall for 100gp gamble, a couple boards can pay 10MIL! It should be very hard... I read somewhere that all the Keno games in Las Vegas put together have never had a 15/15 hit, so that should tell something about playing Keno. Please read my initial posts/threads, most of your questions are already answered there as well.

Both of my Casino games are based off accurate data, none of them are gold farmers if that's what you're worried about. Over time they will remove gold from an ecomony. My shard averages a 94% return rate, so with nearly 500mil gambled the games have removed about 30mil. Several people have hit "big" jackpots (just as some of the "rich" players are now begging and complaining I've ruined the economy. lol), but in general and overtime, these games always favor the "house" if done properly.

i have been excited to see this since you originally talked about it when you were still working on your casino slots.....this is awesome

kudos to you CEO.....now just get some poker or blackjack where the players are playing for eachother's gold and.....*evil grin*

but seriously....great job....you allow something fun to play, allow something that can give alot of money.....but in the end, it also benafit's the shard's economy.

Thank you CEO

EDIT: is edges supposed to get money back no matter what??

That's how it's designed, at the lowest hit, you're betting 100gp and get 20gp back, IE 20% payout, so while you are getting money back, you do see you're loosing in the process right?

That table is based off the one at MGM Grand. As you can see, over all payout on that one is 72.45%. A "trick", especially with slots, is to make it seems like you're getting cash back while you're loosing your shirt.

Checkout the link above with the pay tables, all the Keno tables, with the exception of whitediamond (which I did alot of modeling to make that one payout in the 90% range), came from that source.

The theme names, with exception of white diamond, all are in that payout table link. They're pretty much named after the casino's name in LV.

IE: Treasure Island, Gold Coast.. All these are real LV casinos and their pay tables/odds are in that post.

All the themes have the same special tables, just the main game is unique to each theme.

I don't call getting 20gp back on a 100gp bet winning.

yeah, but you know someone is going to be thinking that's the one to play though if they figure it out....i dunno if my players will flock to this like they did your slots.....just not many people really know what the heck keno is *shrug*

but they will be trying if they look and see the possibility to win like.....10mill lol

EDIT: at least it's good to know what's different then...i was confused for a moment

Keno is an aquired taste... It's just another casino game to give your casino that "feel" of multiple games. Though I put alot of work into this one, it'll never be as popular as the slots, especially after you've dumped alot of gold into it. It's fun to play looking at the different pay tables and since you can change your bet to 1gp you can sit there along time. We've got a nice looking Keno Lounge in our casino and people congregate and chat while playing Keno since you don't have to sit right on top of the board to be playing.

When you double click it, you become a player, so the board shows 1 player. Each board can have up to 50 players, it's kind of like bingo, multiple players, but you each have your own cards. However, the numbers are not drawn for each group, this is more of a combo of Video Keno (individual play) with a Keno board like those in Keno lounges. The board is the controller for individual games. It's kind of like slot play, one-on-one, but with a single board to draw people to the same area since you don't have to be standing right in front of the board to be playing.
