Is there a way to set the command prompt key to use a [ and a .(period) ?? Or isw it one or the other. Also where can this be changed?

Yes there is a way. I have 4 options for using a different prompt. The script i use may even be hanging around on the forum somewhere. You where better off searching for "Prefix" before asking this question.

Yes i did do a search for "prefix" here and in the core forums. Nothing tells me how to do it

remove .txt extension and place somewhere in your scripts directory.
