Thanks To: ArteGordon Features: Well sometimes while creating scripts you'll want to be able to call random hues, over and over, but not want to type out the random functions over, and over, and bloat up your scripts. This script allows you to list the hues you want in a new group, and then later call back a random hue from your preset group. There is also a list of different types of built in random hue functions. Installing: Plug and Pray ![]() There is a sample item file to show how to properly use this with your scripts. Other: I'm hoping others can share their different color swatches with others. For example for testing I made a Reds, and OddNeon group. A brown color group is missing, a grey group, etc... It comes with a sample item.
Basically if your server uses custom hues, you list off the hues in the main file, like I have done for some of the other groups, and then you can call back the hues with minimal effort later on when scripting items. |

Nope, your not understanding how its suppose to work.
It's to save time from adding random color functions to your scripts when you want a set of predefined random colors. There is nothing to replace, download it, and open it up, and you'll see its purpose. Last edited by X-SirSly-X; 02-07-2007 at 10:09 PM. |
