DESCRIPTION:
This is kind of lame, but I like it a lot... It is just a nest that gives you an egg on doubleclick. It reproduces eggs every three hours (easy to change). I did this because the damn chicken laying egg thingy doesn't work ![]() INSTALLATION: Plug and Play. [add nest CREDITS: This is my first real script. I tweaked other scripts like weapons and armor, but this is the first I did myself...erm... almost...I have to thank Sorious, because he killed the errors. Hope you don't mind me to post it?! Have fun and go flame away! ![]() Liacs

Thanks for sharing this.
I had a problem with the hens too. (for us tho, if you tame the hen it will produce the eggs. It works that way but is a pain to stand around all day and watch tamed hens. lol )

If the hens used 0 slots you could put them in a pen and that would be a good rp item. next is milking cows lol. Besides If you can breed them they can yeild milk.

First off: thanks for the comments! I am going to give a bit more back to the community now (as I have more time now and learned a bit more about scripting (just a bit, guys, just a bit)).
@marvin3634: For the milking thing: there must be a whole system with milking cows, cheese making and so on in the archive... I think it is from Alari, but I am not sure... I know that I love it though ![]() Go have a look! Hmmm, I think it is this one: Better food and cooking Have fun!

Yep, there's milking for cows, sheep, and goats in that package, as well as cheese-making. Fun stuff. =) BTW I know someone else reposted other people's scripts, mine included, and claimed them as their own, changing headers and such. This might at first glance appear to be the same thing going on, a repost of the "nest with eggs" script that I wrote ages ago... However... The source code is completely different. (You can tell because the one I wrote is coded poorly. =) I just wanted to say that before the original poster got blamed for stealing scripts. I'm glad someone else shares my interest in farm animals.. er, that doesn't sound quite right. O.o; (I dunno why I never added the nests to the food package... BTW that package is available on my script archive, it may be a newer one than what appears here on the forums.)

I didn't want you getting falsely accused. Though I'm sure others would have checked the source too. The nests on my site have a 'decaying' one as well, that nest will stick around only until the eggs are harvested, at which point it becomes flagged for garbage collection. I use it on the same type of spawners that handle "wild" reagents. (Which also handle wild vegetables and such from the crops package.) You might find that useful in certain situations. =)
