Hello all... it's nothing special, just a building and thanks to Lucid Nagual's updated version of Arya's Addon Generator... I've been able to turn some of our shards buildings into scripts (Which is really handy for moving buildings out of our test areas and into public areas).
So here it is... the new Senate Chambers for my shard (Is fairly nice when you have a few Senators in there as well). Please be aware, that this is a fairly big building and lags me to hell when I load one on my local test server... might be a good idea to freeze it if you plan on keeping it. Enjoy.

Argh! I didnt realise you couldnt freeze them... I never tried.
Now that's a problem. As for a picture... here you go. on another note... is there a way to get around the addon not being able to be frozen? I was kind of relying on it to make the job of building a new city a little bit easier.

I have a feeling this will resolve the non-freezable issue. See if it works, I don't recall who created it unfortunately.
[ConvertToStatic script attached. ![]()

once you covert to a static... what do you do then? restart the server or something?
I converted something and it just disappeared and said that it had been done.

not sure how the convert2static works, but i use addon2static, then i have to freeze it afterwards
if it disappeared on you then it may make it static then freeze it at the same time, which means you have to update your patch files to see it then Also - for large buildings like this - UO Architect is many times better than as an addon, just a suggestion you can get it from orbsydia.ca - alonf with many other fine products

i would get the addon2static and use it -- it makes them into statics that you can then freeze and patch - and nice thing is you do not have to freeze them right away - add a 1000 addons, un"addon" them lol and then freeze them all at once

![]() I have attached a copy of the freezing FAQ I downloaded ages ago. Perhaps it'll be of interest to people who are interested in doing a little freezing. Again, I can't remember who made this either but then again I don't remember much of anything anyway. Basically you convert the addon components to statics and then use the [freeze command to freeze them onto your map. The attached FAQ describes the process of freezing quite well.

Thanks guy.... you've all been very helpful... also might mean that some people who liked the building but were worried about lag, may be able to use it after all

CovertToStatic - converts addons to statics (so can be froze) To freeze statics type: [freeze Addons cannot be frozen to the map, but statics can. Thanks for the [converttostatic - Captin ![]() And nice job Montac!!! Love to see more.

Well I'm working on the walls for the city at the moment..... their going to be a bit to big i think to make a script out of.... and im sort of freezing as i go along...
But your script and the ways suggested here to change them insot statics has helped sooooo much. This job of the walls would be taking me twice as long without it... (i'm up to 6 hours working on them so far).
