Do you know what kind of music it plays?

Maybe I can work on it for you.

Heres how it works. You get three types of tracks from loot on Golems. They look like gears, are labeled (uncommon), (common), (rare). When they are double clicked it brings up the target cursor and you target the box to add them to it. They only work in the house it was placed in. The songs that it plays are found in your /music/ folder in the UO directory. Hope that helps.

Exclamation I know some of the answers

Collect Music Box Gears in loot from Golems, Blackthorn Juggernauts, and betrayers. Rare tracks are found on Paragon Golems, Betrayers, and Blackthorn Juggernauts only

Comes in 3 forms labeled after track [common] [uncommon] & [rare].
Uses image 4179 for the tracks.
The box must be locked down in house.
Comes with 4 free tracks random.
To add track dbl click track target box (has message you added "Track name" to the music box.
Cant have multiples of same track (has message you already have that track).
Dbl click on box opens a track list with play, stop, & a random button.
Has multiple pages with an arrow to flip thru pages to browse tracks.
After playing a song can recall away from house and it will loop. Over riding any music sounds that would normally play in game for a given region.
On hover of box shows name of item and # of tracks obtained listed like so
Dawn's Music Box
Common tracks 14
Uncommon tracks 9
Rare tracks 4
(locked down)

Tracks are found in the Ultima directory C:\Program Files\Ultima Online\Music\Digital
Dont understand the multiple instances of the turfin track listed in the config file. *Shrugs shoulders* Hope this inspires someone.

Here is a link to the tracks and rarity lables [common], [uncommon], and [rare]
Dawn's Music Box tracks complete list

Ultima Onlines Item Discription
"Once a great man, Lord Blackthorn's body & soul became twisted by the power of Exodus. Seeking total control over Sosaria, he led a fearsome army, cutting down all who opposed him. Sosaria's salvation lay in a simple peasant named Dawn who valiantly opposed the corrupted Lord and led the people of Sosaria to victory. This music box was given to Dawn in gratitude of her achievements."

Music box:

Use the music box and choose from a list of songs to play.
This music will play only for you and will take the place of the current music.
Each Music Box will come with a random selection of songs. You will be able to collect and add additional tracks by getting them as rare loot drops.

This is a neat idea. I hope one of the master scripters around here decides to tackle this project. I doubt it will be in the 2.0 release.
