Default [RunUO 2.0 RC1] WatchUO

Hi guys,

someone requested a version of WatchUO for the current release of RunUO - and here is it

If you do not know WatchUO please take a look at the thread where it was announced: WatchUO - A RunUO Control GUI

This release does not provide any new features, it just makes WatchUO run under RunUO 2.0 RC1.

Please post any feedback or bugs in this thread.

Thanks,
Arahil

remoteadmin allows you to do things like restart save etc without logging in, is it like that?

I just updated to svn 159 and now there are a lot of errors with the firewall settings. Any chance of an update?

i will not adapt watchuo to an svn-version, since there might be again some changes in future versions.
if you do not need the concerned plugin unconditionally i suggest you just delete/disable it until the issues are fixed.

Greetings,

Arahil,

I love this script and would hate to see it get lost as RunUO advances.

I hope you don't mind this little update, so it can be ran on SVN 178. I am not a great scripter like yourself, I simply disabled the buttons that errored when compiling. The changes are documented.

actually it's nice to see this little piece of code is still in use
i'll update it as soon as runuo2 is released, but (as i said before) i won't do an update for any unstable svn-version

Default Ideas and sugestions

Hi i have a nice idea but i dunno how to do it.. (it is not a request, just a sugestion).
Some of us have small servers or a shard in a normal pc wich other ppl use and so it would be nice to have an option to hide all, you can already hide the console but the watchuo window stays up, so to get to the point... if the could be an option to hide the watch uo to the system tray so the only trace of the Shard Server would be in the System tray. and maybe with an option to ask for a password when you try to bring it up again.

Hope other ppl think its a good idea, i really think it would be a killer++

to explain my persoanl interest: my shard is on my parents PC wich i finnaly taught them how to use, and finally got them not to turn off the PC when they finish, but when they get in they close everything i have open... i could create several sessions in the machine but for that i would have to login in my session to open the server, so if someone restarts the pc the shard wont start because they get in another session... besides i dont live multiple sessions on a pc im afraid of them J/K but i really dont like em...

Writing this i though of other nice thing... : an option so when the server opens on the moment WatchUO comes up it auto-hides the console, and auto -minimizes the watch uo to tray and if both are activated when the server finishes loading all will be minimized to tray

oh, i guess other ppl may have thought of this as i read something related above, but maybe a remote client so ppl could see the exact console away from the server (without having UO instaled on that remote machine =P) and/or maybe for a website.

Lol sorry for the lenght of the post but apparently the light bulb over my head suddenly turned on jajaja. I Give you all my services for testing and helping in any way i can! msn: frango9000@gmail.com

the systray stuff ain't hard to do, i will most likely include it in the 2.0-compatible version.

i will not implement any remote stuff, since i would have to recode that whole thing... you have to stick to remotedesktop
