Currently, 50 str, 50 dex and 50 of whatever skill is set on the item (default Detect Hidden) to attempt a climb.

After that, the amount of time it takes to climb one or two tiles depends on the relative z's, your skills/stats, your luck and a few other things.

Those things also figure into if you cause avalanches, (animated, sounds, messages, damage), Startle hiding mobiles, and how much stamina you lose for the traverse.

Going down is a bit faster of course

Oh! I almost forgot, the main reason it is not yet released is because i want to try something really odd on how you set the equipment up to climb.
That climbing gear is so heavy that when you are wearing it you can't really walk around anymore and it really isn't suited to combat either.
In fact, it is so bulky that you probably won't be able to wear much of your normal eq during your traverses and of course, if you take it off halfway up a cliff, you will tend to fall with great damage to the nearest non-mountain (read impassaable) ground tile....

CrazyHue now has a RunUO 1.0 compatable version

This 1.0 version is that same as the BaseTypes version for RunUO 2.0.
You can easily add CrazyHue to any constructable type in script by just setting the inheritances.

See examples for how and have fun!

P.S. Tee312-

Thanks for the offer!
Life has been a bit distracting for the last few days, but when i get a few more things fixed i'll send you a pm to see if you are still interested ... ok?

Run uo 1 version worked great ...the only thing I would change is what the player sees when they mouse over it..this could be a nice reward item (robe/clothing) but would not want the range thing to show...is it possible to remove that from players seeing it?...I liked how staff can set it and not the players..to allow soo much control

PS LOVE how you commented so even I can figure it out...if I can anyone can ....giggles

++ karma for you

IF you love this script why not send some ++ his way and show our thanks..I know I am

i know an older one of this would lag a shard if there were too many running at a time due to timers...dunno if this was due to script or RUO....but does this one cause any noticable lag??

great job by the way...looks great

oooo im not too sure about this. you use a full fledged timer which uses more memory than a simple delaytimer callback...

i would change it over to a delay timercallback function that calls the method to change the hues with min value of 1s.

you get too many of those robes passed around and you could have quite the resource hog.
