Thanks to Irian and daat99 for helping me with string to int conversion and preventing server crash on exceptions Inspiration Players on a shard where I am currently doing some scripting work were saying, that they are annoyed, because they have to carry all the gold they want to tithe from bank to the ankh, which in case of this shard is in an unguarded zone and rather far away from bank. Gold is rather heavy, and cannot be carried in any big amounts, and transporting a lot of money in a packy in an unguarded zone is very risky. This gave me an idea to write this script. Description Here is how it looks like: ![]() Features -Displays users current Tithing, gold in backpack and bank balance (including checks) -Allows sacrificing money straightly from bank -Player can decide to allow taking gold from bank or not -As the old 'increase-amount-per-click' system would be quite unfunctional in this system, it was replaced with a TextEntry, where player enters how much gold he/she wants to sacrifice. Installation Drop TithingGump.cs into Scripts/Gumps directory and replace the existing one Known Bugs/Glitches I have tested this script for quite a ling time, especially the amount entering mechanism entering many various things, trying to crash the script. It worked poerfectly, but it's of course possible, that I forgot some possibility. If you encounter any bugs, please post them here. Last edited by poorchava; 09-12-2006 at 07:56 PM. |
