Question What patch should the server be?

OK last question(probably not!)
We are running 6.0.6.1 and the arcane circle cliloc
1080452
is just give the mega cliloc error not a biggie, I changes it to :
Caster
.SendMessage

I patched my client and ran the backup server on 6.0.7.0, still no cliloc 1080452

Im curious as to what is the best patch to be running for Mals ML release, cause it must be higher then 6.0.7.0.

All doors without switch should be unlocked. So quick fix set Locked to false. And yes you can change that message to Caster.SendMessage... Altho i don't know in which patch did they add this.

That cliloc entry is in client 6.0.9.2. So it was added somewhere between client 6.0.7.0 and 6.0.9.2 but not for sure which client exactly.

Default TY Rosey but theres more!

All pet parrots and all chests in game are gone as are NPC/vendor/packs. Bank works fine?? Why such a major change with this serialization/deserialization delete stuff?, with this update? Never had a problem in the past? Hmmmm.

Seems to run fine. There is a map change for felucca and trammel as well. A small meteor hole type thing (See pic) has been made in Moonglow on both facets. Not sure which client added that in though. Also alot of cliloc entries have been added between 6.0.7.0 and 6.0.9.2. I don't play OSI anymore so I cannot be of much help there on client/map changes and why they are there.


I havn't explored too much to see if anything else was changed map wise besides moonglow. But the map changes are limited to those 2 facets.

Question Talisman Questions

This was asked by one of our players:

When I equip a talisman it gives the percentage from the percentage....doens't make sense I will explain.

I have a talisman with a 22% exceptional bowcraft bonus. I have a 33% chance to make the item exceptional normally. Instead of bumping it up to 55%, it takes 22% of the original 33% and then adds that to my total. I basically get 8% more, not the 22%.

Is this a bug or just how it is?
In all honesty I dont know the answer

I have an issue where I must use the GM Force Evaluate on Aquariums to get rewards to be generated. The events occur, but the rewards are never generated on their own, I must force evaluate.

I browsed the code, and I think this is because we restart the server daily at the same time. It looks like the Deserialize method for Aquarium simply restarts the timer at 24 hours, instead of saving off the remaining value and then recreating the Timer using the remaining time delay upon deserialization.

Just tested this: Example 120 blacksmith crafting plate tunic:
Withouth talisman:
90% success
45% exceptional

With talisman: +18 success, +11 exceptional
100% success
56% exceptional

So it works like supposed to.

Default What this is...

This is all the ML (Mondain's Legacy) expansion package that Malganis scripted for the free shards. It requires the latest client and the latest version (SVN 300) of RunUO. It basically will add all the ML stuff to your shard which RunUO did not bother to add. (Well some of it, lol) Anyway my friend read the first opening page, It has a full description of this package. And again ty Mal for a great body of work!
Also good job to everyone here for the bug reports and fixes.

Default Swing Speed Increase

Thank you for reply.
I've no Compiling errors and any.Everything work fine.

But "Swing Speed Increase" is not work for me.
Just only base speed at which I swing my weapon.
I mean
"Attributes.WeaponSpeed = num;"and"Every 30 stamina I gain a tick (0.25s faster swings)"
seems not work.

Hi just tho i let you know that in trammel Prism of Light players can recall, mark and gate now that shouldnt be able to happen anyone know what i gotta do to fix the trammel part of Prism of Light so that dont happen Thanks.

I noticed that the Melisandes Corroded Hatchet drops as rare drop off the Peerless, but it also dropped as a minor in the BaseCreature code. I have commented it out of the BaseCreature code, as I think it should only drop from the Peerless. Does anyone know for sure?

Sorry to bother you guys with this, and I am probably just blind from sleep deprivation but... I was trying to follow your suggestion Malganis and making it for RC2. But I cannot find the mod mentioned in the compile guide. Am I wrong in my understanding that there is supposed to be a package of files to merge or am I just not reading the guide correctly?

If defined as an MLDungeon region that shouldnt happen, testing now.

Tried to recall out as a player and it shows that spell doth not appear to work here.
I'm not really sure Erica, maybe check that the region is defined for that area>???
