First Script, Vikings Race Runuo 2.0 - RunUO

This Script is a new viking race. Its For Runuo 2.0, it has been tested and worked.

Details On The Script:

This is a script with four new monsters to add...
The Races-
Viking
VikingArcher
VikingLord-
Odin The Viking God

This is a cool script, The Viking, and the VikingLord have RoundHouse Atack, making it more interesting. Also i just made a script for this, an add on for if you wear a norse helm the vikings will not atack you, somewhat like the orcishmask and savage paint. The Viking Lord Rides a horse and drops some magic weapons. The viking archer drops 50-100 arrows its armor a bow and some bandages...The viking drops his armor his weapon and some bandages

Odin drops 8,000 gold about and 16 about magic items.

Talking=

The vikings Talk when fighting saying things such as, Have at thee, Valhala Awaits, and Die scum, it is a little different for odin.

Installing-

All you need to do is click the link Free file hosting by Savefile.com, unzip, and add to your custom script folder. Nothing else is needed.

Vikings 1.0 update-
Added The simple script for a little viking camp....

Viking 1.1

1. Added the god loki with custom armor and weapon which he uses. Loki will atack you if you have a norse helm on or not since he is witty and can tell that you arent a real viking....

2.And Viking Runes, it is a rune that is named of course "Viking Runes' and whe you double click it it tell you things like The gods are in your favor ect.

3. Added viking shaman, who are only femals and talk saying things like :have at thee" Valhala Awaits" etc. Viking Shamans Also Drop VikingRunes, And will atack you if you have a norse helm on since they are more int than the warrior vikings =O....

***Update*** Vikings 1.2

1. Added a tunic on the viknigs that will be neutral colors and it makes the vikings look somewhat more vikingy =)

Great idea. I am of Swedish heritage, and have always been interested in Viking lore and mythology. Here's a page from wikipedia detailing Norse Mythology if you are interested

I also see that you are planning an update to include a Viking Shaman. If you want to stay true to Norse lore. You should make this mobile a woman. More Info:

Hmmm sorry ill try redoing the link for ya, and yes i was gunna make it a woman cause i love the vikings hehe as you can see my name was from when i rped hehe.... keep posting suggestions. Hopefully eventually i will be making most of the viking gods so not just odin ill keep you updated. also changed the link so now it should work for you.

For my taste the vikings look a bit too much like knights... I am going to change the outfit if you don't mind... oh, and where can you delete the camp addon? I had to reboot the server with an old save ;

just wanted to say that disabling the bardablility of the vikings might be a good idea. barding two on eachother reduces their life by 2/3rds because their helmets blow up. really cool idea tho

I know this thread is a bit old, but I like the idea. However when I go to the link it takes me to a site that will not let me download the item. Everytime I hit download file it just refreshes my page.

Would it be possible to have it uploaded so all could download it from RunUO? Much easier to download from here than a 3rd party site...

Anyone have a copy of this release that I could get? I would like to take a look at it and install it on my shards... However for a while now the download links have not been working on this thread. I just was hoping to get a copy of it to download and put into my shard.
