This robe is based off of the "diamond master robe" (submited in the releases here) and the incognito spell
and it fixes a few proplems for both and adds a little more funtion to it this is mostly Drag and Drop If you do not use titles at all - then it is drag and drop - just use the the zip file marked no titles If you use titles, then you need to add to the name.XML file in your data folder, and modify the list i included to match your shard This was tested on 2.0 svn 147 and should work with rc1 and any svn's i believe It might work with 1.0 if the guild titles where not messed with ![]() What it does: it is called a "hooded robe" in game (can change to what ever you want) when the hood is down, the player is as normal but when the hood is raised up - then the folowing occure 1) random body of male/female 2) random name to match new name 3) random skin hue 4) if no title - title is removed just in case and stored if titles are used - it assigns a random title (see below) 5) the graphic changes to a hooded robe 6) guild title is removed basicaly you have no idea of who they are when hood is lowered or robe removed, all is restored Warning - this could effect savage paint, idols or other things that use bodmods/huemods the titles are based on race and classes - and the name file mod i have included uses the races & classes from my shard, but you can rename them to what ever you want them to be just open the text file and copy the contents then open the name.xml file in the data folder and insert it in the section you want (i would have included my names folder - but it is highly modifed with other names also) and just save the file - opening it in note pad works great for this otherwise it looks like a normal robe or hooded robe as always enjoy and you can do with as you please, like any of my other submissions Edited - Files updated so no longer corrupt

Players love the script! Though, have noticed a few things that I would like to see changed, if possible that help make it even more fun.
1. Is is possible to REMOVE the guild name from the player all together? On a small shard, if the guild is still displayed, most players can figure out who it is. Don't know if that's possible or not. 2. Can it mask someone's status? In other words, whoever wears the robe could always be flagged a criminal (maybe part of the danger of wearing the robe). This would help conceal Reds, that are still showing up RED when they are wearing the robe. Would be cool if anyone wore the robe that it would give them a consistent flag status. (Either blue or gray...) or maybe even not that, maybe just a hue color for their name, leaving their flag status 'masked' by the hue of the name given. 3. If you log out with the robe on (different name), when you log back in, the name is still in effect on the character screen and if you log in with that character name, it creates a 'profile' based on the character name, thus removing all your macros, desktop settings, etc. You have to lower the hood, log out, and log back in with your CORRECT character name to get it to work right. 4. Also, the robe can't be dyed. Is it possible to change / add code that would make it able to be dyed? I tried to figure out how to do this on my own... but not working out so far. ![]() Still, killer script. We are having a blast with it. Last edited by nadious; 09-26-2007 at 09:44 AM. |

It must require a certain amount of Int to equip it.

should all ready be doing this 2. (Either blue or gray...) or maybe even not that, maybe just a hue color for their name, leaving their flag status 'masked' by the hue of the name given. you could set it up to do this - add an aother variable for "murdercount" and save it when the put the hood up and set their count then to 5 when it is put down, just have it subtract 5 from the current count and add in the number stored to their count 3. If you log out with the robe on (different name), when you log back in, the name is still in effect on the character screen and if you log in with that character name, it creates a 'profile' based on the character name, thus removing all your macros, desktop settings, etc. You have to lower the hood, log out, and log back in with your CORRECT character name to get it to work right. i do not know anyways of fixing this, unless you put a check in the "log out script area" (like when it checks to see if can log out there, timers, etc) and have it check to see if the hood is worn or not and have it lower the hood would be a royal pain in rump to do 4. Also, the robe can't be dyed. Is it possible to change / add code that would make it able to be dyed? I tried to figure out how to do this on my own... but not working out so far. use an armor dye tub - it isbase armor

Ah, thanks GreyWolf. Appreciate the reply.
As far as the guild goes, it does remove the TITLE, but it does not remove the actual GUILD. So, let's say my character's name is: "Rob" and he's in 'LOS' guild... with the hood up, his name is changed, but the 'LOS' is still displayed beside him. |

Try these. I used rar recovery to pull the files out.. I added recovery file to the rar archive so if they fail this time you should be able to go to tools/repair archive and extract the files.

Here's an updated copy fixing the errors broken by the corrupted files, also combined both title and no-title version, if you want to ENABLE titles just remove the // before #define USE_TITLES at the top of the file and follow the instructions in the Readme.txt!
