Default [2.0 RC1] Spawnable Treasure Chest

My first script submission in a while. Thanks to Vorspire for helping me out with a slight problem on this.

Vhaerun's Spawnable Treasure Chest

Basically, this is a treasure chest that can be spawned. You can add whatever items to the chest as you want. You can then have the treasure chest actually spawn with a spawner. It's unmovable, comes locked, and sometimes is trapped.

While this might sound like a normal treasure chest, it's not quite the same. This one incorporates parts of another script (BaseCamp) that causes the unmovable object to delete itself after a time (default is 30 minutes), and then wait to be spawned again.

This allows the GM to place locked treasure chests with a spawner without worrying about the entire chest being taken, and also that it would need to be refilled. No distro modifications are necessary. This script is plug-and-play.

As it is, the chest should have nothing inside it. You will have to add gold, items, and whatever else you wish to the chest script. Enjoy.

I do not mean to take this off subject nor to show how much I still have to learn, but is there a way to just have an item spawn in a chest/box/crate? Say a crate in a dungeon and just have the item spawn inside the container (with no spawner package other than the default built in tool for spawning with the shard)?

Just make a non-movable chest with a timer that spawns stuff and locks it.

Not sure how to do that... Do you have the commands needed to do that? I know how to make an item spawn but not inside a container...

I believe XML spawner has options for spawning inside a container.

Just use xml spawner. you can make the spawner moveable and drag it into the chest and make it unmovable again (at least that is how i think i did it ).

Have fun.

I have never gotten XML spawner to work for me... I will look into getting it again later and trying to get it to work again. But in the past it never really worked for me (probably just did not know how to use it is all). I have been using the standard default spawn command to make spawns so far.
