Populate the world with monsters (some info)

So my brother and I just setup a RunUO 2.0 RC1 server. We figured out how to add accounts and edit some things when logged on as an admin account, but we were a little surprised to see that there are no monsters to be found.

Do we need to populate the world our selves? (hehe, that sounds bad)
What about mining spots, lumberjacking, fishing, etc?

This list by Soultaker seems to be the answer for alot of questions. For those of you that don't want to populate a world from scratch, find Nerun's Distro in this list. The download and instructions are very good.
