Project Middle Earth! Check it out! - RunUO

Well, I've decided to start a new project and I think everybody will enjoy it: Transform UO into LoTR.
I KNOW there are a couple of Middle Earth maps and servers around there, but i mean, a TOTAL transformation, from fonts to gumps, from items to animations, to transform UO into a total LoTR game.
For this, I chose RunUO to be the main emulator because its customizable, stable, etc, etc, etc...
Well, but before starting, I need to know what you ppl know about this, who wants to help and contribute with suggestions or say what u want to.
I will be waiting awnsers! I am sure this will be a great thing

I would ask you ppl to send me privete messages of some custom Middle Earth maps for UO too, this can be helpful.

I don't know how much help this would be, but... feel free to use photographs of my hairy feet as a modelling template for the Hobbits. If you're interested, mail me a digital camera (4 megapixel or better) and I'll be happy to supply you with them.

Thanks aidsteen, i will be contacting you soon, we just need more ppl to help. But u can still help by finding some Middle Earth maps for UO and either some scripts. Thanks! And please other ppl, join us!

Allready in the works (and I have been for over 4 months now...)

I also did this for sphere but I agree RunUO is a MUCH beter EMU for this conversion.

There are no 'free' Middle Earth maps out there. You will have to build your own OR get permision from another shard to do it yourself.

There WAS ONE 'freeware' map but it nolonger exists... (Rayndor.com)

we are doing BOTH, discussing the project and looking for staff.

Well, I am downloading a Middle Earth map, so we can start the project. And about a host, yes, we cas use my shard host! Its a 5Mb/s connection! What do ya think? Who wants to join the project? Who agrees and disagrees?

well, actually another admin of my shard staff is hosting. Don't know price. But back to the subject, about ME Project! I GOT A MIDDLE EARTH PACK WITH FONTS, HUES and CUSTOM MAP! WHEEEHAAA! Who wants to help!?
