Default Crashing!

Everytime i go within about 3 screens of the artist guild in Britain (just north of West Britain Bank) I get a crash message... "error illegal prog"... etc

I then cant log back in becasue the secocnd the screen loads up it crashes again.. and i have to get a friend to use the "get" command to recover my char.

I was wonderign if anyone else has this problem... I cant even get to the bank.... I have tried different clients (2.0.0-3.0.9) and even reinstalled with no succes.. i dont want to format.....
any suggestions?

Something is near there (item/NPC) that is causing you to crash.

Have you tried the 3d client? That might work better.

I know when there's a certain number of onjects on screen my 2d client crashes totally...

Default Hmm

It might also be an item that has for some reason ended up below ground, that can crash clinets on rare occations.

To find out, remove ALL save files and walk there in a totally empty world, if the crash still occurs there's something odd going on, but if not crash then it is an item or npc nearby that causes the crash, so then you have to locate it somehow, or do a wipe of that general area.

Good Luck!
