Default RUNuo compared with OSI uo in earlie stage?

The thing i wonder is, does like most of the skills, spells work?
And also for example thinker trapping chest and get kills for it?
Or posion work? Is it possible to pk without loose stats/skills?

Lets say like uo for around 3 years ago? is it possible to make it run like that?

And does for istance dex and int work right, ie if you get bugged say like 25000 int and use Por Corp Wis(damn cant remember spellname hehe), u could kill like dragons in one hit?
And if dex is like 25000 you would hit really fast?Also does camp spawns work or are they scriptable?

Also are there any downsides with this emu, like clients take more bandwitdh or more power?
Are the any really big bugs, that ruin the game play,or is most scriptable?(sux at c++ scripting),but guess there will be fixes out there!
Does guild stones work,order and chaos? and more think you get the point!?

You can make your shard any way your want, most everything will be coded through scripts.


This is beta, so its not finished so I hope nobody says there are major problems because its beta.

Everything you asked is possible on RunUO.. except I think the lots of int = lots of damage, not sure on this one.

Yes we have guild stones, yes we have order/chaos.
Yes we have trapable chests you simply have to change the values on tinker traped ones.

So far there are no downsides to this server except for the fact that someone has to run it.

Other than that I dont think there is anything.

That sounds great, im working on sphere at the moment but sounds like i have to change emu

Forgot one, did a search for campspawn, is this a built in or i guess you will be able to script it?

hmm...a friend of mine sent me a insta hit script..but ..i think its not perfect yet...harrrrd to make it work perfectly...
if someone could help me out on this i would appreciate..icq me if possible plz: 62135588

It's possible to script Mind Blast to work the old fashioned way (Your int vs. Enemy's int) but it's not like that by default

do something like this:

Dmg = caster.int - target.int(or m.int depends on the way you name them ) / 2(or anything else you want)

if( Dmg <= 0 )
Dmg = 5
(or make a msg, you are not smart enough to cast this spell on this target)
endif

if( Dmg < 5 )
Dmg = 5

so '0' and under wont be greater than ie. '3'

UO 3 years ago didnt have insta hit more like 5 or more years ago...
