Default Creating items in game

I thought I read a message somewhere stating you could create an item by using
1. its namespace
2. its obj number

so if I wanted to add a cloak in game how would I do it using the second method?

first way is
[add Cloak

[add item 0x0

Substitute the 0x0 for what ever the hexadecimal ID for a cloak is.

Or anything like Inside UO, yes

or like it was said add it by the class, else it won't really interact like if you add a backpack by its baseid, I don't think you will be able to open it.

That post made no sense? Why not have this tool add stuff by the class?

It will have it add by the class but I will have a static section too and wanted to know how to add the item by its obj number.

For example Say I want to build a building. I want to be able to add the item to the game by its objtype (Wall for instance) because Not every item in UO has a class

Make sense now?

inside uo is also good for the mobiles...you just add one to the id number that inside uo gives..

Actually every item does have a class but in the case of the wall its a class which takes enum arguments....

Take a look at inside uo what they did, in their def files.
