I just installed AOS and checked it out for the first time. Afterwords I copied my custom map and statics into the UO folder and now all the AOS features are disabled. When I copy the original files back into the UO folder AOS is re-enabled. Anyone know how I can get around this?

Not sure whether this has already been said somewhere but it's of a similar ilk to the thread (copying files around and the like). For all those of you out there who want to go to Malas, use a 3d client and seriously dislike the general look of the AoS 3d client you can copy some of the files from the AoS client into an LBR client to achieve the desired effect!
I figured this isn't exactly what the topic is talking about but any way of preventing people who want to use Malas from having to see the horrible little models they use in AoS has got to be a good thing... I cite, exhibit A: http://www.reallifecomics.com/daily.php?strip_id=880 If anyone out there does want to know which files to copy over let me know and I'll whack together a list for you! Thanks... AllBrain Edit: BTW, I'm not sure whether this is true, but it might work for the 2d client too to some extent. I'll investigate... /topic hijack |
