Default Magic trees implemented in RunUO?

Very curious - I play on a RunUO shard as a lumberjack with one character and have been looking around Felucca for these "magic trees" which give upwards of 1000 logs. These exist in OSI shards, but has this feature been implemented in RunUO? I can't find any docs or information on this. Thanks.

No. Those trees aren't features on OSI, they are a result of their shitty harvest system. RunUO has a much better harvest system to prevent this.

i remember reading they were put in on purpose. they would suck the resources from the surrounding trees or something like that. if it was there harvest system, they would have fixed it by now.

cmon, this is OSI we're talking about here. It took them months to fix the nightsight bug with AoS...

it is a bug, they have admitted it several times but have yet to fix it entirely. they fixed part of it (harvesting from wood tiles ie bridges and floors) but i suspect the rest of it is complicated and will never be fixed.

don't know what system it is using, it's ridiculus to see the harvest (wood tiles) bug only in Fel. facet but not Tram.

it was seriously so ridiculous...

u could harvest like 60-200k logs per session off the floors of buildings in trinsic?

what kinda code allows that lol

If its not on the playerguide or stratics then its not going to be a feature of RunUO.

Your welcome to make it yourself if you want to add a freaking bug to your shard.

However, they are bad for the economy, because the value of logs would drop. Some newbies chop logs and sell them in order to make money. It's harder to do that when there's an exploit. Also, if it's that easy to make money i.e., stand in one spot and get 200k logs, the value of gold drops, and people charge more for craftables, services, etc.

there is a trick to doing this on osi first you fill your pack with logs so no more logs can fit in it then go to tree and log the logs fall to ground and you can get up ro 1k logs off one tree used to do this all the time

OSI fixed this and kept some of those trees on purpose (Europa shard). There are two locations with magic trees that give exactly 1000 logs. One of those locations is in Delucia/T2A.
