Default UOAM lowjack

Once UOAM works for runuo, would it be possible to show all players in the world locations. like with the tracking option but since the admins would have all the players info can they use it for this purpose?

this would be a great way to stop cheaters, since you know where they are and will have an idea how long they have been there.

UOAM works for RunUO if its the standard OSI map. Custom maps however do not work.

UOAM is only client side.

There is no way to do this, the progam doesn't even support it.

there was an option to track your friends with UOAM, i'm not sure if it really worked all that good but the idea is sound.

This isn't possible with UOAM.

UOAM does work with custom maps. I have a custom map and it works fine, it looks at the map file and displays whatever is there, regardless of whether you have changed it or not.

He wants to track all the players on his shard.

I never said it didn't work with custom maps? Were not even talking about that.

uoam does work for custom maps, it does not however recognize uogateway patched custom maps.

uoam DOES support this, but every player on your shard would have to login to your uoam server which is 100% optional so it wouldnt be useful for your purpose.

I didn't know you could run your own UOAM Server.

Still like Tal said, clients would have to login and thats optional, so its still not possible to track 100% of your clients.

Why don't you stop being a troll? At least I was semi-correct.

I dislike Krazy Zack, so I could careless if he has a big red nose, big shoes, and a joke flower filled with water.

Another drawback of using the existing UOAM dedicated server software is that it has no way of distinguishing between what shard a client is actually on. Thus, I could connect to, say, a UOGamers UOAM server then start running amok as an admin on my shard! Everyone on the server would only see where my client is posting to on the map but not actually know I was never anywhere near them...

On the plus side, UOAM dedicated servers are quite nice but like UD said, they're 100% optional.

There is a tracking feature in UOAM but it requires both users to be running UOAM and then UOAM has a linking feature. This Feature Is very unstable though and tends to brake alot

I got a UOAM server running for my shard, and it runs very well and it looks stable to me.

Default Scripting/Ultima.DLL

Not a C# expert yet, far from it, but shouldn't you be able to write a script that outputs a file or stream every x seconds, then read this in and display on a facet map via the Utlima.dll or some other toolkit?

After all, we're only talking x and y coords, and maybe user name/account #.
