ok i heard about a program or file of somesort that allows you to only see the stumps of trees.. i hear it cuts down lag and such.. first of all is that compatible with runuo? and is it legal?

Just because you havent heard of it Phantom doesn't mean it doesn't exist....

What it is is an 'illegal' statics patch that turns all the trees into stumps so that they won't slow you down when running away from PK'ers / Monsters (Illegal as in if OSI catches you using it {thiough how I can't see...} they will ban your account).

It's fully compatable with any "standard' shard but I would ban you if you used it on MY shard (mind you I have a custom map so the point is moot...)

Just wondering was the subject ever answered? o yea the trees well i imagine you could do this with out editing or patching i mean felucca and trammel use the same statics really so why cant you just change the trees instead of being leaveless to stumps. dont sound too far off

i have to agree. I believe anything that gives a player an unfair advantage over another player is a cheat. I would never allow it on my shard. Same with speedhacks and such. It's just not right.
