Im running at .5MB/Sec. Im trying to figure out how many clients i can support on my server. How much bandwith per second does the average client use? And also... about how many clients can be support with virtually no lag on 1MB/sec of bandwith?

Ive seen this post before, but dont quite understand it, if im right... the average is about 100kb per second for 250 clients, which equates to about 12.5KB per second for 250 clients online?? This doesnt make any sense to me, at that rate, your average person with cable should be able to support 7500 clients. Or maybe its 12.5KB/sec per client? Could someone please explain this graph to me, or give me a simple answer of about how much bandwith an average client uses?

K, so supposing i have a .3MB/sec internet connection, thats 2457kb/sec. 2457 divided by 13kb (the bandwith each client uses per second) equals 189. Does this mean i can host 189 clients on .3MB/sec? Or rather, about 80 clients with very little lag?

Lag is also affected by where your players connect from, the route that the connection takes, what services you are running, and what other programs you are running at the same time. Lag will also go up if you are playing the game on the same computer that you are using to run the shard. The way your scripts are set up will affect lag, how many items you have, and how many mobiles there are.
