How to get something you want done in RunUO - RunUO

So people message me every day asking for thigns to be added to RunUO. Examples:

Factions
Plant Growing
Pet Bonding

I get sick of it, I dont really have the time to take these messages, but I can show you an example of how to do the research to get what you want:

That kind of research by Phantom will allow the faction system to get done about 500% faster than it would have previously, that coupled with the fact that hes helping to code it and doing a lot of the grunt work makes Factions something you will see soon enough.

Everyone here should applaud Phantom and the rest of the factions team for their oustanding work.

I have always thought actions speak louder then words. I point towards anyone that wants something added to RunUO to help the Dev Team out, with anything your able to do. Get 4-5 people to do some amazing project.

And if anyone would like to help with the plant system please PM me. I don't need any help programming it, since I have almost everything done, all I need are a few gumps. If you play on Atlantic or know how to extract gumps using SpyUO, these are the gumps I need:

Main plant gump from any stage after 7 (when it shows the plant in the status screen) for the following plants:

Poppies
Snow Drops
Lilies
Pampas Grass
Rushes
Ponytail Palm
Small Palm
Century Plant
Snake Plant
Barrel Cactus

And I need the reproduction menu before you cross pollenate for the following colors:

Bright Yellow

Any of these things would speed up the process by a lot since it would take me a month to breed all this plants on my own. So if you have any of these gump extracts PM me or if you have any of these plants and are on Atlantic PM so I can meet you and extract the gumps I need. Thanks.

Umm I did a search for spy uo on yahoo and google and found nothing useful.

If you can get me a link to a download of it, I should be able to convince a few of my players that still play OSI to get me a gump or two.

Hell if its ABSOLUTELY neccessary Ill reup my old UO accountfor a month to get the gumps you need hehe.

Most of that stuff is jsut there for referance Purposes, as far as I know, I don't and I dont' think he plans to actually use that XML in anything, Thank for pointin' it out though.

I hate to be a bum, and ask, sicne im pretty much a useless nub who just enjoys the wonderful piece of software, but Phantom, hunny, sweety, could you maybe update that factions page a little more often, if anything just the percentage, it's just nice to keep track of it, and see how it's coming along. If it's to much, you can just tell me to foad and I'll sit back and wai tlike a good little player

Um id rather him work on the faction scripts rather than updating web pages

trying to belittle others for actually making a contribution is very mature. I wonder if it crossed your mind that the faction project although spear headed by Phantom is being coordinated closely with the runuo devs so as soon as its completed it can be quickly added to a distro release.
