Computers have come a long way since UO was released and I often wish that I could expand the play window to make up for my beefier system. Recently, I've found some screenshots that indicate people have done just that! Unfortunatley, I've only seen 'em on foreign sites such as this from the French shard Profane. I've also seen them on a Korean site where players submitted screenshots of their 3-story 18x18 house with the whole thing visible.

You can tell there client is 3d by the textbox on the bottom of the screen :>

Could also be a third party client (That model looks like one of the 2D ones...)

It cant be look at the trees landscap and the textmenu...then look at 2d trees landscaping and the textmenu

Ahh, you are correct. Very difficult to tell at that distance, though. (Especially at the resolutions I run ;->)

Profania looks awesome, I've been following it's work for a long time, even though I can't read the language very well

I'd love to try the world out or have a run on it. OSI could learn from the designers of this world. Its one of best I've ever seen in the last 6 years+ for uo

By patching the verdata....

A MUCH easyer concept since RUO because the verdata is MUCH smaller not that it includes ONLY custom patched stuff...

Oh...

Well a bunch of it is a Freeware patch that's been floating around for a while(avatar patch). Some of it is from a greman site where people upload their patches and the Garg wings are from a custom patch creator (i forget his name).

the rest is probably custom work buy the creators of the shard.

Tanijers or whatever has a bunch of verdata patches, I think ill study what makes them work so i can make some of my own.

To be honest its actually multiple pictures merged together, and then then little model is copyed and pasted on to it... must of taken a hell alot of time

Yeesh. Pay attention, raist, we already found the client that expands the play window for us. Hats off to Krios! I'm looking forward to making it my primary play client.

It ain't images pasted together, FFS. Check out Krioss' client! You can play in 1600x1200. Oh man, it's like a new game!
