Default Lag in beta 36

Doing a stress test right now, beta 35 = half the bandwidth per user then beta 36.

Your wrong.

Stop posting this shit, Ryan closed your topic once.

Your "stress" test is bull.

What you try to do it on a DSL line with a unbalanced bandwidth, where you could get 100kb/sec then 40kb/sec, then 100kb/sec

Your connection sucks, only reason you get this so called lag. UO Gamer's has no lag on its new host. Only reason there was lag on the temp host it was cable and wasn't able to handle 60 players 24/7

Explain then why in beta 35 I get no lag til 50+ players and with beta 36 I get massive lag at 20 players.

Because you obviously screwed something up. NO ONE else reports this frigging miraculous increase in lag between b35 and b36. You've obviously sone something, it's not the beta, so stop frigging posting about it. If anything, I've noticed b36 run better.

actually i've seen it posted by several folks in different topics....The administrator at my home shard newjerseyshard posted it as well and had to roll back to 35 as it was unplayable for the folks there.

in fact here is his post he was treated in a similar fashion

What you might get as "lag" is the following:

Fastwalk prevention algorithm changed to now literally slow the player down rather than to disallow their moves

Also of course make sure Player Senivity is switched to be off.

There is nothing in Beta 36 that would cause it to use more bandwidth.

Bob Smiley, If you use your spawners on your shard, that would be your reason.

I am sorry, your spawners use 10X more resources then it would if there were placed by hand.

I ask, you start taking out custom core changes from your package, since your back.

Last 2 months I have had to help people, not very keen helping more people with isssues that coems from editing core scripts, for a xml script that doesn't even require it.

Make a second package, if you so wish. Just offer support for it, and support it, don't "die" on us again.
