Default adding slayer weapons

I have looked on the boards for a couple of weeks now and ask a few questions to try to get me started but with no luck. Can anyone tell me how to get the slayer weapons to spawn on the appropriate monsters as loot. I have looked at all of the slayer files and at the random loot generator but with no success. I am guessing that something needs to be added to the randomlootgenerator but I'm still very new to scripting and don't know how to alter it. Anyone have this working? or anyone have any guidance on how I can get this to work?

there is already a random magic weapon generator for monster loot, you could just add some script to add the slayer types to weapons.

Thanks Nate, would this script you speak of that I would add be part of or refering to the slayerentry.cs I'm sorry to ask such probably simple questions but I just can't get it to work.

thats great phantom, but is their a way to add it to the existing randomlootgenerator I am running b19r2 and have not updated yet because I have everything woriking pretty well with that release. I am also running several of Dougan Ironfists scripts on the server and though they work very well and I think his work is great, they can be a problem to upgrade with the mobile changes that come out. The only thing I really want to do at this point is be able to have slayers spawn on some creatures. Everything else including Malas and Doom (problems with the teleporters and moongates)I have fixed and have working pretty well.

Of course there is being a slayer is just a property like the rest of the "magic" properties...

When the next release comes out just use that script... Just trying to save you time...

yep, If you haven't checked out Doom yet bleis I highly recommend it. It is a huge dungeon with lots of nasties, depending on the spawn of your shard. I recently reactivated an old osi account just to get myself killed and do some recon. Hehe seems like I can check things out better if I'm dead. It is pretty good. Lots of the new AOS monsters are their.

ok i'll download the new version and check it out. Do you think that I can copy the script over to b19r2 and it will work.? I suppose your talking about the loot generator. Again I understand that I should probably upgrade but as my old pappy the carpenter used to say. "if it ain't broke don't fix it". lol thanks for the reply phantom I will check it out.

Thats a good sport Bladesong, cuase if it was me, i would have went off on that comment. Sometimes you gotta ignore folks, and sometimes you gotta listen, and on these forums if you want an answer, then you better be prepared for rude attitudes.

Just hang in there. most folks on here are very nice, believe it or not.
