Apprently when you loot a blue corpse in town and equip the item onto your paperdoll before you get guard whacked it stays on you throughout death and appears on your ghost.

How can you do this when guards come almost the instant you do a criminal action ( most of the time ).

I've seen this happen before. The criminal action is picking up the item, so it doesn't matter if you get guard wacked the instant you do it, you are still holding the item and it stays with you even after you die and get resurrected (at which time you can put the item in your pack and keep it).

i know for a FACT that you cannot do that on osi sorry...

That's not new. It's not because you put it on your paperdoll it's if you drag it with your cursor while you get guard wacked. Most of the time it will not be in your backpack, but rather still on your cursor. Once you've done this and ressed you log out and back in and the item that you looted will appear at your feet.

Yep. And unfortunately it is a RunUO bug. It was fixed on OSI some time ago.
