Default Spawner setting recommendations ?

So it is time to start spawning a world in a more serious manner than what I have done before. So my questions are.

- What do other RunUO users recommend for settings in the [PROPS of the spawners?
I have worked a little bit with them, but I always end up spawning things in the water or in a city where they arent supposed to go. I would like some advice on some good settings for them if I could please.

- I understand the concept of "HomeRange" being how far from the spawner a spawn will occur. But does this too limit the distance a mobile can walk from their spawnpoint ... or is there a sperate setting ?
I want to have a decent amount of spawning HomeRange option, but from where they spawn I dont want them to wander off too far.

I am sure the second question is somewhere answered already... I should have searched first. But, it will be nice to have it all in one nice post

Mmm... And who will can talk me, is there a possibility to make a GROUP SPAWN ? (of random town critters, for example, or swamp creatures...)

HomeRange limits spawnable area and distance to wander.

And if you double click the spawner you can put multiple creature types in the list. Spawns will be chosen at random from the list up to the value in Count. There was some talk of region spawners but I haven't downloaded the scripts yet.

My spawner settings vary widely... In a few cases the homerange is set to zero, the item will only show up on the same tile as the spawner. In two cases the homerange is set to 150 with a count of 35. It all depends on what you are trying to do and how big the area is.

It would be smarter with both a spawn-range and a move-range.

Like having a spawnpoint near some water, rocks ect.
So the spawn range can be 1, but move range 50.
That why they wont spawn the "wrong" places, but will still move around..

Good idea.. I am guessing it would be easy to script, but still way to hard for me =\

David you are good at this kind of stuff... why not give it a go?

Actually, I was planning a derrived spawner, although I have not even checked to see if it was possible yet. I want to somehow keep town critters from spawning inside buildings....
