Default Possible Virus. Help!

I use windows ME, is there a way to Force a file to be deleted, even if it is "Being run by Windows?" I opened a file and now I can't delete it! I think it is a Virus but norton does not detect it. The file is called UOGamer.exe, if you run across it, dont download it. Any help would be appreciated.

i've run into this problem recently, but with a different program. if you restart and go into safe mode, you should be able to delete the file you need. that's how i deleted this file/proggy that was "being run by windows".
